The Pathway to the Future™ consists of two phases: a relatively short preliminary phase which consists of work with the executive team primarily and then a longer one that focuses on implementation in the short term and the long term.

The preliminary phase is called ExecuTAP™, which is our term for our world-class specialty in aligning executive teams.  The second phase is Fulfilling on the Future™.  We do not contract for Fulfilling on the Future™ without first conducting the executive team alignment process, for two reasons: 1) We do not know what the future you aspire to is until we have done the work with you, and 2) you need to have an aligned executive team in order to be successful at fulfilling on your desired future.

This means your initial commitment is relatively minimal.  ExecuTAP™ is extremely powerful and worthwhile whether you continue to work with us or not- way beyond your investment.  By far, most companies choose to continue for the full implementation.

A description of these two phases follows.  Throughout, we are your guide, coach, consultant, and sometimes provocateur:

I. ExecuTAP™

  1. An initial evaluation based on The Seven Pillars of Successful Strategic Implementation™.  It begins to create the basis for your seeing the greatest possibility for your organization’s future, shows you where the gaps might be in the process of fulfilling on this future, and opens lines of communication at least at the executive levels
  2. Executive Team Alignment. A global best-practice, this process helps you turn your executive team into a powerful force for the fulfillment of your collective aspirations.  Your team will create a compelling future or transform an existing vision, own it completely, know at least at a high level what you need to do to get there, be committed to each other’ success and to the fulfillment of the vision.

II. Fulfilling on the Future™ 

         Four aspects, not necessarily in linear order:

  1. Taking the vision and the strategy to the organization for implementation and engagement.  The different levels of management and the greater employee body take on the ownership of the planning and implementation.  Our methodology for your engaging the organization makes all the difference, bridging the gaps between what “upper management” wants and what people see “what’s in it for them.”
  2. Continue to work with the leadership to help them to go beyond where they have ever gone before in their ability to lead and manage in the context of fulfillment of a compelling vision.
  3. To move the odds of success in the organizations favor, we help you think through the appropriate governance and organizational structures and get them in place as smoothly as possible, as well as other mechanisms for moving surely and with the right speed toward you desired future.
  4. Develop your culture into one in which the people in your organization thrive on challenge, accountability, stretch targets, creativity, and continually increasing their ability to execute.  This is you building the capability of sustainable performance improvement while nurturing and developing your people.
